A and AA levels (Required)

  • Every non-text, non-decorative content has a text alternative (1.1.1)
  • Text alternative (captions, transcripts...) is provided for recorded audio-only content (1.2.1)
  • Text alternative or audio is provided for recorded video-only content (1.2.1)
  • Captions are provided for recorded video content (1.2.2)
  • Text alternative or audio description is provided for recorded video content (1.2.3)
  • Captions are provided for live video content (1.2.4)
  • Audio description is provided for recorded video content (1.2.5)
  • Images of text have a detailed text alternative (1.4.5)
  • Media content does not flash more than 3 times in a second (2.3.1)

✏ Content

  • The page uses one h1 element and correct heading levels (1.3.1)
  • Links have a meaningful label (at least in context) (2.4.4)
  • Parts of content in a different language are identified or translated (3.1.2)

🧬 Functionality

  • The user is warned before a time limit is reached (2.2.1)
  • The user can extend time limits, or turn them off (2.2.1)

AAA level (Optional)

  • Links have a visible and descriptive text label (2.4.9)
  • Uncommon words are defined in the content (3.1.3)
  • Abbreviations and acronyms are expanded in the content (3.1.4)
  • Plain language is used in the content, or a simplified summary is present (3.1.5)
  • Unusual or ambiguous words pronunciation are explained in the content (3.1.6)

🧬 Functionality

  • The website does not use time limits, except for live events and non interactive media (2.2.3)
  • Help in non-trivial forms or complex steps is provided (3.3.5)
